Emprende Circular CV: new resources to support sustainable entrepreneurship

From the Association, we have carried out a new edition of the Emprende Circular CV project, an initiative designed to bring useful information, tools and resources to entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Comunitat Valenciana.

Throughout the project, we have expanded the content available on the platform, produced new practical materials and undertaken a range of awareness-raising and outreach activities on entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, the circular economy and business opportunities.

The result is a set of free, accessible resources intended to help both people considering launching an idea and those who already have a business project and are looking for new tools to develop it.

Two new practical guides to starting a business

The project has produced two new guides aimed at addressing some of the main questions that can arise during the early stages of a business project.

Guide: How to create a sustainable business

This guide offers a simple, practical approach to incorporating sustainability into a business initiative.

The document covers topics such as defining a value proposition, designing products and services, using resources efficiently, reducing waste, economic viability and communicating environmental and social commitments responsibly.

Guide: Resources and funding for starting a business in the Comunitat Valenciana

The second guide explores the main funding alternatives that an entrepreneur may consider.

It also includes recommendations for finding grants, analysing calls for applications correctly, preparing basic documentation and assessing which type of funding may be most appropriate at each stage of a business.

New practical factsheets

Alongside the guides, we have produced a collection of short factsheets designed to provide clear, directly applicable information.

Quick map of organisations and resources for starting a business

This helps identify the main types of support available for developing a business project and provides initial guidance on which kind of organisation to approach according to the project’s needs.

Circular economy: business opportunities for entrepreneurs

This helps people look at their surroundings from a different perspective and identify new opportunities related to repair, reuse, refurbishment, rental, sharing or turning waste into new resources.

Digitalisation for small businesses and entrepreneurs

This presents different areas in which a small business can begin its digitalisation journey.

Starting a business in the agri-food sector and rural areas

This highlights business opportunities that go far beyond crop and livestock production.

Directory of organisations and resources for starting a business

Another of the project’s main outcomes has been the creation of a Directory of organisations and resources for starting a business, designed to help identify bodies that can support entrepreneurs, self-employed people, start-ups, SMEs and businesses.

In particular, the Directory includes the main organisations that can help you to:

  • Resolve questions.
  • Find funding.
  • Access training.
  • Grow your project (incubation, acceleration, public grants, digitalisation, internationalisation, etc.).

Short videos for entrepreneurs

To make the information more accessible, we have also produced a series of short audiovisual pieces with practical advice on entrepreneurship.

The videos produced include:

The five most common mistakes when starting a business.

An overview of some common mistakes, such as failing to validate an idea or relying exclusively on grants.

How can you tell whether a business idea is viable?

Five fundamental questions for assessing an idea before making a major investment.

Sustainable business opportunities.

A collection of opportunities linked to the circular economy, resource efficiency and new consumption models.

Where to look for grants and funding to start a business.

A summary of the main sources to turn to when funding is needed.

A space that continues to grow

With this new edition, Emprende Circular CV continues to develop as a source of information and support for the Valencian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The materials produced will remain freely available, and the platform will also continue to expand and update its directory to include new organisations, programmes and opportunities.

If you are thinking about starting a business, developing an idea or looking for tools to improve your business, visit Emprende Circular CV and explore the new resources.
